Text Message (SMS) Consent

Hidden Valley Ranch Community is a private, members-only application operated by Shompton (on behalf of the Association) for the Hidden Valley Ranch Property Owners Association. There is no public sign-up form. Membership is limited to property owners and other authorized individuals.

Consent to receive text messages is collected verbally. Before an administrator adds a member’s mobile number to the app, the administrator contacts the member by phone or in person and reads the opt-in script below. The member’s mobile number is entered only after the member agrees, and the administrator records that consent in the app at that time.

“This is Hidden Valley Ranch Property Owners Association. Do you agree to receive account text messages from us — one-time codes to sign in, and occasional notifications about discussions you take part in? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.”

These are account-related (transactional) messages. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
